If You are tired of hearing, "Just think positive & happy thoughts and everything will be ok", this workshop meets you where you are at. If positive thinking leaves you in a constant mind battle of positive over negative emotion. Join us as we explore the myth that " being happy and positive all the time" is the only path to happiness and fulfilment. Unreasonably optimistic thinking can trigger a self-defeating spiral, particularly for those prone to stress, burn out anxiety and depression. Whilst cultivating a Positive outlook is a valuable antidote to both physical and psychological well being we cannot ignore the negative emotions are part of a fully lived experience.

There is a growing body of research that supports what I have been teaching for a very long time. There are positive aspects of Negative Thinking and Negative emotions and It is by turning towards negative emotions that we find relief from them – not by turning away and suppressing them.

This workshop we look specifically at negative emotions – what causes them, the effects of them, and how we can use them to create a greater sense of wellbeing.
